Following the WFOT conference in Bangkok, journey to Chiang Mai a city in the mountainous north that is rich in beautiful and historic Buddhist Wats. From Chiang Mai, travel to Doi Suthep-Pui National Park and experience the Chiang Mai Night Safari, where you can explore a jungle-like environment after dark. The tour continues in Phuket, a picturesque coastal destination known for its vibrant 19th-century shophouses and charming Sino-Portuguese architecture.

This professional tour explores the evolution of occupational therapy in Thailand within its unique social and economic contexts, highlighting how Western therapeutic practices are integrated with traditional Thai medicine. Explore Chiang Mai, a city rich in beautiful and historic Buddhist Wats (temples). Visit the 600-year-old temple Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep which, on a clear day, offers unparalleled views over Chiang Mai. Continue to Wat Suan Dok and Wat Chedi Luang. Visit a community rehabilitation centre that provides community-based services for individuals with physical disabilities and geriatric people.

Visit factories that produce and sell handicrafts made by the delicate craftsmanship of the Lanna Thai people.
