Shane Fryer is an Orthodontist practicing in Australia in Wollongong with regional practices in New South Wales and Norfolk Island.
He is a past president of the Australian Dental Association (Federal body), the Australian Dental Association (NSW Branch) and the Australian Society of Orthodontists. Dr Fryer has been involved with both international and national dental congresses being FDI World Dental Congress Chair in 2021 and 2023, and the Congress Chair for the 2025 Australian Dental Congress held in Perth, Western Australia.
Shane Fryer is also involved in education and has lectured and tutored in the disciplines of Operative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Dr Fryer was awarded the Order of Australia in 2018.
