A day of dental discovery

Join us for a private Jon Baines Tours event at the Royal Society of Medicine on Thursday 13th August (2 – 4pm).

Gather amongst your professional peers and fellow JBT travellers for an intimate afternoon of travel, conversation and dental discovery.

We are especially delighted to welcome two of our most distinguished tour leaders, Kevin Esplin and Shane Fyer, who will present a series of fascinating talks, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

Light refreshments will be served.

Kevin Esplin, is specialist in prosthodontics and has been a popular tour leader with JBT for many years. He will present his talk, Teeth on Fire: Forensic Odontology in Chile.

Shane Fryer is an orthodontist practising in Wollongong, Australia, with regional practices across New South Wales and Norfolk Island. He will present his talk, Not Just About Teeth: A Journey of Discovery on Norfolk Island.

This event is supported by The Lindsay Society for the History of Dentistry. Named in honour of Lilian Lindsay, the first woman to qualify as a dentist in the UK, the Society is dedicated to promoting interest, study and research into the history of dentistry, while bringing together those who share a passion for the subject.
