It pushes boundaries with its cuisine and holds the highest number of Michelin stars in Italy. This tour will delve into the rich culture of the city, with many opportunities to enjoy the wonderful cuisine and wine of the region.

Itinerary at a glance

  • 6 May (Fri) Milan: Check into the UnaHotel Century Milan. Welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant
  • 7 May (Sat) Milan: Explore the neighbourhood of Naviglio and its renowned canals. Take a boat and ride down the canals. Finish by enjoying some Aperitivo. Have the afternoon at leisure and then walk to dinner at a local restaurant.
  • 8 May (Sun) Milan: Explore the historic city of Milan, starting with the Santa Maria della Grazia Church, where you will see da Vinci’s famous “Last Supper” fresco. From here walk to Castello Sforzesco and visit the Museum of Ancient Art.After lunch take a walking tour of the city and visit the gothic Duomo Cathedral.
  • 9 May (Mon) Milan: Surgeons transfer to professional visit. Partners visit the Italian Art Renaissance collection in the Poldi Pezzoli Museum with an art historian guide. Afternoon at leisure. The evening is free
  • 10 May (Tues) Milan /Verona / Milan: Surgeons transfer to professional visit. Partners travel to Verona by train to meet local guide. Walking orientation tour of Verona’s artistic and architectural highlights. Visit the Arena, the best-preserved Roman Amphitheatre in Italy, see the house of Romeo and Juliet, the colourful Piazza delle Erbe and Arche Scalifere. Typical Italian tapas lunch in a bacaro and at leisure. Return to Milan by train.
  • 11 May (Wed) Milan / Como / Milan: Depart Milan for Lake Como by train. Walking tour of the historic centre of Como. Transfer by bus to a local winery with views over the lake. Enjoy a wine pairing lunch before visiting Villa Carlotta and its gardens. Return to Milan by private bus.
  • 12 May (Thurs) Milan: Surgeons’ meeting at the hotel. Partners will tour the Eataly market and have a guided tour, sampling typical Italian products. The afternoon will spent at leisure. In the evening enjoy the farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant with views over the city.
  • 13 May (Fri) Milan: Depart after breakfast
