About the tour

Learn of paediatrics and child health care across India from Delhi, to Rajasthan in the north and to Bangalore and Kerala in the south. Visit a wide range of NGOs, hospitals and clinics; meet with fellow professionals and explore the rich culture, cuisine and magnificent landscapes of India.

This tour starts in Delhi, a city where Mughal and colonial history rub shoulders alongside a vibrant contemporary culture (we can book additional pre tour accommodation and tours if required). Continue to the pink city of Jaipur via Agra, dominated by the majestic Taj Mahal, and onto Bangalore, the most vibrant techno-hub in South India, also renowned for its gardens. Continue to elegant Mysore, city of palaces, silk and sandalwood, and onto the cool hill stations of Ooty and Coonoor. Finish the tour in multicultural Cochin, the gateway to Kerala, and take a leisurely cruise along the languid backwaters. The varied cultural programme is balanced by a wide-ranging professional itinerary of visits, talks and meetings with your professional counterparts in rural and urban India.
